Load Restrictions

The following City of Fargo weight limitations are in effect throughout the year, except during spring,
when further restrictions apply.

Streets which make up our truck route system (see *Truck Route Map) are not restricted by the weight formula and are as follows:
Single axle: 20,000 lbs
Tandem axle: 34,000 lbs
3 or more axle groupings: 16,000 lbs per axle, not to exceed 48,000 lbs

All remaining streets—not on the truck route system—have Class A restrictions as follows:
Single axle: 18,000 lbs
Tandem axle: 32,000 lbs
3 or more axle groupings: 14,000 lbs per axle, not to exceed 42,000 lbs
Gross Vehicle Weight: Not to exceed 80,000 lbs
