Friends of the Fargo Public Library

The Friends of the Fargo Public Library is an advocacy group that promotes the library through fundraising, sponsoring events and organizing used book sales. The Friends also host an informal monthly book discussion group, Book Talk, at the Downtown Fargo Public Library.

More than 250 individuals and families were charter members of the Friends organization. The group officially formed in March 1995.

To join the Friends, pick up a membership application (requires Adobe Reader) at any branch of the library. Request for Donations

In anticipation of the Friends' Spring Book Sale to be held May 4 and 5, the Friends of the Fargo Public Library are accepting donations of used books and DVDs. The items can be brought to the Main Library at 102 3rd St N, Fargo, during regular library hours. Most any type of children's or adult books and media are welcome. Book Talk

Mark your calendars for the Book Talk sessions. Book Talk meets at the Downtown Fargo Public Library on the second Thursday of the month at 10 a.m.
