Stephen Dawson, Alternate Municipal Court Judge

Steve Dawson has served as an alternate Municipal Court judge since June 21, 2005.  

Dawson received an undergraduate degree from NDSU in 1985, then graduated from the UND law school in 1988. He worked as a deputy sheriff for 11 years, then as a prosecutor for the Cass County States Attorney's Office and later, the City of Fargo.

In addition to serving as an alternate municipal court judge, Steve operates Dawson Law Office in south Fargo, practicing primarily in the area of family law  Steve's wife Vicki is a loss prevention specialist with the North Dakota Department of Workforce Safety and Insurance. The couple has five sons.
