In 2006, almost 2,700 people dropped off items at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility. More than 1,300 people took advantage of the facility's Product Reuse Room, where usable items are offered at no cost after they are examined by city staff.
The total amount of waste handled by the facility in 2006 was
